Retaining Wall
When you basement has water issues, or even if different parts of your property are starting to have pools of standing water, it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in some retaining walls to divert the water the direction you will need it. Retaining walls can provide not only stability to areas that are prone to erosion, but they can also be a nice looking feature for multi leveled gardens. Typical concrete retaining walls are made up of a footing that is at least 4 feet deep, and that is tied into another large slab that connects through a rebar cage system. Other retaining walls are made from cinder block and are hand placed and set. We can quote out your retaining wall with either option.
Concrete Driveway
When building a new home or deciding on the proper finish for your place, you will be faced with two options for a finished hard surface driveway. One option is to use your typical asphalt finish, but asphalt over time has been known to crumbled, will need to be redone within a few years, and after your first layover, will need to be fully replaced the next time it needs maintenance. Our concrete experts recommend a concrete driveway. Not only will it be a harder more durable surface, but the maintenance and the wear and tear is minimal to that of a typical paved driveway.
